Acceptable use policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This policy applies to every website, booking system, form and app that The IT Dept Pty Ltd (ABN 12 665 405 505), trading as Twin Lakes Studio (Twin Lakes, we, us) builds or hosts. It is short on purpose. If you are running an honest local business, nothing here will get in your way.

What you cannot use the service for

  • Anything illegal in Australia, or content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful or threatening.
  • Content you do not have the right to use, such as other people's photos, logos, text or music.
  • Misleading or deceptive claims about your business, prices, qualifications or products.
  • Scams, phishing, malware, or anything designed to harm visitors or other systems.
  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk email through anything we run for you.
  • Collecting personal information from your customers without telling them how you will use it.
  • Adult content, gambling, weapons, and other regulated businesses need a conversation with us first. We may say no.
  • Deliberately overloading or attacking our systems, or trying to get into anything that is not yours.

What happens if something breaks this policy

Usually we will email you, explain the problem, and give you a reasonable time to fix it. For anything serious, illegal, or that puts other people at risk, we may take the site or feature offline immediately and tell you afterwards. Repeated or serious breaches can end your subscription under our terms of service. Your domain and your content stay yours either way.

Reporting a problem

If you see a site we host doing something it should not, email hello@twinlakes.au with the address of the site and what you saw. We take reports seriously and act on them quickly.
